Paul began his legal career by starting his own Firm immediately after Law School in 1996. He was extremely fortunate to be Of Counsel to Lynn A. Lubitz, P.A. from 1996 until Lynn and Paul both joined Hodes, Ulman, Pessin & Katz, P.A. in 2001, where he was employed in the civil litigation and criminal departments for a period of 4 years and eventually attaining Member status.
After leaving Hodes, Paul was one of the founding Partners of Shapiro & Mack, P.A. in Columbia Maryland, which was formed in 2005. During his tenure at this firm, he represented individuals in a wide variety of criminal and traffic cases ranging from minor traffic tickets to manslaughter and murder cases.
Throughout his career, Paul has handled over 3,000 DUI/DWI cases Statewide in either District or Circuit Court, as well as administratively at the Office of Administrative Hearings. He has handled a variety of high profile cases, including most notably, representing Michael Phelps. Having tried numerous District Court and Circuit Court jury trials, he has repeatedly achieved favorable results and acquittals for his clients which has earned him the respect of his peers and the bench.
During his career, he has also represented numerous Plaintiffs in automobile negligence actions which have resulted in policy limits offers, including one most recently of $1,250,000.
Paul proudly joined Amos & Muffoletto, LLC. in April of 2016. In addition to his reputation as being a zealous advocate for his clients, he prides himself in preparation and being accessible to his clients as well.
Paul concentrates his practice in the areas of Criminal Defense and Personal Injury.
